After six seasons of romance, drama, backstabbing and anonymous tips, the CW hit series is saying goodbye with its series finale, "New York, I Love You XOXO," airing Monday, Dec. 17. And judging from the photos the network just released from the final episode, it'll be an affair to remember as a fan favorite couple will finally be tying the knot: Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester)! Yes, a Chair wedding is officially happening people, but you know that it's not truly an Upper East Side event unless some major drama goes down, and the union of two of TV's most beloved characters is no exception!
While there are few happy snaps of the couple (including their first kiss as a married couple as their friends and family look on delighted!), things quickly take a serious turn when the police show up and haul Chuck away! Yikes!
Other than Chuck and Blair's wedding, the finale photos also confirm the return of Revenge's Connor Paolo as Eric, Serena's (Blake Lively) brother, who's seen walking arm-in-arm with his mother Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and sporting some Declan Porter facial hair!
Also returning for the series finale is Katie Cassidy, who currently stars on the CW's new hit series Arrow, as season four baddie Juliet. Hmmm...we wonder what she's doing back in town?
Gossip Girl's series finale will air Monday, Dec. 17 and will begin with an hour-long special featuring interviews with the cast and crew looking back on the show's six seasons.
