By now, everyone and their grandmother likely knows how to go "Gangnam Style." But do they know the reason behind its creator PSY's catchy name?
The Korean pop sensation (real name: Park Jae-sang) is ready to put that to rest: Turns out, his stage moniker is short for "psycho."
"In my case, what I thought was: crazy about music, dancing, performers—so that kind of psycho," the tells the BBC. "My music is Western beat, but lyric is Korean—that's [the] important thing. So in some way, East and West meet."
Well, he seems to have chosen the right name: Fans are certainly mad over his massive pop hit, which has now become the most-watched YouTube video of all time. Psycho, indeed.
Here's what else went down:
Jelena Update: Yep, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were together again, holding hands backstage at Jingle Ball.
Awkward Alert?: Interestingly enough, Taylor Swift (who was on what seemed to be a date with Harry Styles yesterday) was honored by the Kennedy family in New York City. Luckily, her ex Conor Kennedy wasn't there.
Stage Tragedy: Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe has been indicted for manslaughter in Prague, where he's been accused of pushing a man off the stage during a 2010 concert, causing the victim injuries that he ultimately died from.
Reviews Are In: Well whaddya know, not everyone is obsessed with The Hobbit.
TV Land: Get the recaps for The Voice and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
