Star Trek: New Sequel Poster Revealed, Zachary Quinto Clears Up Exit Rumors

    Star Trek Into Darkness

The Star Trek sequel is teasing us once again.

Almost two months to the day of director J.J. Abrams releasing three frames of Star Trek Into Darkness, the first poster for the movie is upon us.

    And it's bleak.

Which hottie is a secret Star Trek fan?

The poster features a Dark Knight Rises-esque image of the film's new villain (Benedict Cumberbatch) shown from behind while standing on top of a pile of rubble in the middle of a city in ruin.

As everyone knows, Abrams and his cast and crew remain tight-lipped about details.

"I've seen enough to know that I'm really excited about it and J.J.'s not fooling around," Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock, told me at last night's Trevor Live benefit for the Trevor Project. "I think it's going to be an exciting journey again."

Some details about the plot of the Star Trek sequel have been getting out there

And while rumors exploded last month that Quinto was calling it quits after Into Darkness because of some comments he made to Entertainment Weekly, he assured us he's not going anywhere.

"Of course I wouldn't leave," he said. "I've had an incredible experience working with J.J. and that ensemble of wonderful actors, who are now wonderful friends. I would never willingly walk away from that."

So how many more Star Treks is he obligated to be a part of?

"Just one more," Quinto said. "Just one more."
