Liv Tyler's New Venture With Givenchy

Liv Tyler's relationship with Givenchy is a longstanding one (nine years to be exact!).

And now, the actress who has fronted countless campaigns for the brand finally has something in their luxurious lineup that she can call her own—literally!  

Liv's Lips, which debuted as part of the holiday collection, was actually originally created as a gift for Tyler by Givenchy's Le Makeup artistic director, Nicolas Degennes.

As Liv applies her favorite shade to her lips, she tells us how this all came about. She says that Nicholas "very sweetly made this for me and I fell in love with it and then went through the tube in two seconds and kept calling and asking for more and using those up and suddenly it became my only go-to lipstick."

And if you do go out and get some (because why wouldn't you?), don't panic when you pop the top. While the stick itself is black, it transforms to a gorgeous sheer berry shade when it hits your lips—a unique design that Nicholas created to reflect Liv's inner softness, which is contrasted by her outer edginess. 

Ever the Givenchy girl, Liv is also repping the brand in a new mascara ad, which she shot in Paris! Très chic!
