From Australia to London to New York, jet-setting stars set the red carpet style standard this week. While we wish we could also sneak off on international getaways, we're mostly filled with closet envy given the stunning head-to-toe ensembles these traveling stars turned out this week.
Proving the winter white trend is definitely here to stay, Taylor Swift and Kate Bosworth looked absolutely flawless in white-as-snow dresses. Swift upped her style in the land Down Under with a chiffon Elie Saab gown with an intricately banded bodice at the ARIA Awards, while Bosworth added a little sex appeal with an Emilio Pucci dress featuring a plunging sheer V-neck at the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection launch party. (And if you're coveting Bosworth's chic Prabal Gurung clutch, you can get your hands on it when the Target + Neiman Marcus collection launches tomorrow!)
On the opposite end of the fashionable color spectrum, Selita Ebanks and Kate Mara were radiant in red at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York. Ebanks stunned in her strapless silk organza and silk crepe Ramona Keveza gown with its pretty peplum skirt and structural draped bodice, plus killer retro makeup. Mara went for a more modern-beauty look with the minimalist sleek bun she wore with her chiffon Jason Wu dress.
But our fave of the week is undoubtedly Olivia Palermo's lacy London look at the Valentino Master of Couture exhibition, where she stood out in a category all her own. Not only did she bypass the popular color choices our other fierce fashionistas embraced, but she boldly wore an Alessandra Rich design at an event celebrating another designer. Palermo heated up the exhibition with Rich's white, blue and black flame pattern dress—unlike anything we've seen—and nonchalantly threw on a blazer for one final fabulous touch.
Do you love Palermo's look as much as we do? Share your thoughts in the comments!
