New Girl Casting Scoop: Nate Corddry Set to Creep Out Zooey Deschanel

Jess (Zooey Deschanel) has certainly had a lot of men show interest in her on New Girl. But this dude's affections will definitely not be welcomed.

New Girl has cast Nate Corddry (The Daily Show, The United States of Tara) as a student in Jess' adult creative writing class whose material creeps out her and Nick, almost to a point of legitimate fear for her life. Needless to say, Edgar (even his name is creepy!) will definitely develop an obsession with our quirky leading lady.

We'll be "fortunate" enough to meet Edgar in episode 14 of New Girl's second season. Thankfully, he'll only be around for one episode, so Jess won't go falling in love with him. At least, we hope not.
