Thus launching today's installment of "spot the potentially nonexistent royal baby bump."
Alas, anyone hoping for a glimpse of a telltale bump will be disappointed, as the 30-year-old wife of Prince William looked as tiny as ever during her visit to St. Andrew's in Berkshire, England...though she didn't seem to remove her tartan Alexander McQueen coat at all during the visit.
Which will no doubt do nothing to quell the ever-growing speculation.
During the celebrations, held on St. Andrew's Day in honor of the school's namesake patron, Kate observed the festivities, briefly joined in a pickup hockey game and gave a speech to open a new Astroturf pitch on the grounds.
"It is such a treat to be back here at St. Andrew's," she said. "I absolutely loved my time here; they were some of my happiest years, which makes it so incredibly special to be here today.
"In fact, I enjoyed it so much that when I had to leave, I told my mother that I was going to come back to be a teacher. While that didn't quite happen, I was thrilled to have been asked back today on St. Andrew's Day."
Ah, well. Fortunately, her plan B didn't turn out too shabby: Teaching's loss is royalty's gain.
