The "Decisions" singer''s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, stepped out Wednesday looking like a blast from his '80s past when he sported a mullet during a performance in NYC.
Cyrus rocked the shiny Elvis-esque hair with pride (which—dare we say—is most definitely dyed darker) and he completed the eclectic look with a brown leather jacket and plaid scarf.
The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer was at the Barnes & Noble in Tribeca to promote his new album, Change My Mind, but we have a feeling his new hair stole the spotlight.
For what it's worth, Billy Ray is currently starring in the Broadway musical Chicago, so it's possible the updated style is for his new role.
Too bad he didn't pull a Miley and photobomb the transformation.
So until we get some answers, we'll just gawk with sincere admiration.
