Katy Perry is set to develop a line of signature scents with French perfume giant Coty Inc. The beauty company will distribute the songbird's new creations on a larger scale than her previous perfumes, Purr and Meow!
"Coty has become my partner," the 28-year-old singer told Billboard magazine. "We are working on the next fragrance, which is almost finished."
Perry also told the tabloid that the product will hit stores sometime next year.
The company says that the "Firework" star's "unique approach to music and life will serve as the inspiration behind her innovative new scents."
The singer's previous two perfumes have proved wildly successful and Katy's loyal fans will surely be excited about a new scent from the songstress.
Other stars that have profitably paired with the monster fragrance firm include Beyoncé, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez.
