Wish you could have a body like Ginnifer Goodwin or Anna Paquin?! Well, we're about to let you in on a little secret that just might do the trick—it's called The Bar Method.

This unique, interval training workout has quickly become a celebrity fitness favorite.  And the results are undeniable. Slimmed-down stars like Kelly Osbourne and Ricki Lake have raved about the results they got from using The Bar Method.

So, what sets it apart from any other fitness class?

We spoke with Bar Method instructor Jessica Duwe, who gave us the deets on why this workout is so drastically different.

First of all, she says "It's one of the hardest classes that people try out. We use a combination of isometrics, working muscles to fatigue using smaller increments and then stretching them. So, we burn the fat and then stretch the muscle." This directed, specific-method technique, which was developed in conjunction with physical therapists, helps clients achieve what Jessica refers to as a "Bar Method Body."

And this isn't one of those classes where you can just hide in the back and fake it if you're feeling a little lazy. Instructors are constantly walking around the room, giving individual attention to participants and making sure each client is always maintaining proper form.

Participation and proper form pay dividends, though! Jessica says that clients see results very quickly—often within a week after just taking 2-3 classes!
