Singer shows off some high flying new ink, designed by the famed tattoo artist

Demi Lovato is chirping on Twitter and showing off some fab new ink.

The X Factor judge and self-proclaimed tattoo fan took to the social media site this morning to show off her expansive new arm art, courtesy of none other than Kat Von D. 

The impressive ink features a long line of 12 soaring birds down her forearm with the word "faith" written out in cursive script.

The "Give Your Heart a Break" singer thanked Kat on Twitter and posted a pic of the two inked-up ladies posing together.

"Thank you so much @katvond for my new ink!! I think it's beautiful and I love it!!," the 20-year-old singer wrote.

After fans urged the star to show off her body art, she tweeted two more photos of the seemingly symbolic tat.

"Here ya go #ink," the brunette beauty posted. "And another picture of my new birdies."

Demi is no stranger to meaningful tattoos—she has the words "stay" and "strong" tattooed on her wrists as well as "Let go" and "Let God" stamped on her feet.
