Well, as of today, recordings by the four them have been inducted into the 2013 Grammy Hall of Fame along with 23 other singles and albums.
Joel's tune "Piano Man," Sinatra's classic "New York, New York" as well as Houston and John's self-titled discs made the cut, which ranges from AC/DC's Back in Black to Paul McCartney & Wings' Band on the Run to Ray Charles' "Hit the Road Jack."
Other inductees include James Brown, Bob Dylan, Buck Owens, Richard Pryor and Little Richard, among others.
"With the Grammy Hall of Fame celebrating 40 years, it's especially important to note that these entries continue the tradition of inducting a wide variety of recordings that have inspired and influenced both fans and music makers for generations," Neil Portnow, president/CEO of the Recording Academy said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the 55th Annual Grammy Awards will take place live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, on CBS.
