Blake Shelton may love Christmas, but his wife probably shouldn't expect to see much in the way of gifts from her hubby this year.

"I don't know if you realize, but Miranda Lambert is rich," the country star and Voice mentor told E! News' Terrence Jenkins. "And I'm thinking, 'What can I get her that she doesn't already have?' So I'm thinking maybe a card. Or maybe I'll make her something, draw her a picture or something like that. Because I don't want to blow a bunch of my money on her when she already has a bunch of money she can blow on herself."

Naturally, Shelton was joking. (We think!) After all, this is the guy who also admitted he's "one of those morons who's cranking up Christmas music in April," so we're guessing he's not really that much of a Scrooge.

Not to mention, the CMA Entertainer of the Year recently released the album, Cheers, It's Christmas, and his special, Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas, airs Dec. 3 on NBC.

"It's crazy. It's kind of all over the map," Shelton said of the show, which will include such folks as Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera and his mom, Dorothy Shackleford. "We try to mix in serious music with complete idiotic skits."

Oh yeah. Lambert will be on it, too.

That alone should be worth a pretty present, no?

(E! and NBC are part of the NBCUniversal family.)
