The name's Craig. Daniel Craig. And he just paid a visit to troops in Afghanistan.

Yep. James Bond himself stopped by Camp Bastion on Sunday for a screening of the latest 007 adventure, Skyfall.

But the 44-year-old actor's appearance included more than just the movie. According to the Ministry of Defence, Craig was given a tour of the camp, met with several soldiers preparing to deploy to forward operating bases and even got the chance to fire off some machine guns.

"It was really good morale for everyone - it's a decent thing for him to take time to come out and visit everyone here," Private Scott Craggs, a medical technician, told Reuters.

Meanwhile, since its release, Skyfall has become the highest-grossing Bond film of the 50-year-old franchise.
