Justin Bieber Attends the American Music Awards With the Love of His Life: His Mom!

With the entire media-industrial complex waiting with bated breath for the latest shred of evidence as to whether Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are on again or off again as a couple, the Biebs arrives at the American Music Awards with...his mother!

As Bieber and his mom, Canadian author Pattie Mallette, posed for photos on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, he even gave her a sweet smooch on the cheek.

Even cuter: When he won his award for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, he dragged her along with him up on stage. "This is my mom," he said. "She's little but she's beautiful and thank you so much," he added, while turned toward her.

"I just wanna thank you for always believing in me," he told her.
