Former ABC's Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan was denied an appeal by the California Supreme Court on Friday, yet another setback in the 48-year-old's wrongful termination case against ABC and Touchstone Television.

The now 2 year old lawsuit stemmed from the former housewife claiming she was wrongfully fired after complaining about being struck in the head during an argument by the ABC hit show's creator Marc Cherry

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the court's chief justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye ruled on Friday:  "The petition for review is denied. The request for an order requesting depublication of the opinion is denied."

The ruling marks another loss for Sheridan, as her initial claims against Cherry were eventually dismissed, and Sheridan's case against ABC and its producers ended in a mistrial. Her request for a rehearing was subsequently rejected, which then lead the actress to appeal to the state's Supreme Court.

Eek! Looks like for Sheridan, troubles follow her even out of Wisteria Lane!

Still, the case probably isn't finished yet as the actress is expected to return to court again to argue that her dismissal was the result of a labor-code violation.
