Animal prints like leopard and zebra stripes have been in vogue for quite some time now, but celebrities are turning to a new crop of creatures for their fall fashion needs.

We already know Taylor Swift is a fan of covering herself in cute cat prints, and now it seems stars like Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung and others are channeling their animal instincts with sweaters featuring furry and feathered friends.

Dogs are a fashionista's best friend this season, with adorable dog-print sweaters popping up on the likes of Heidi Klum and LeAnn Rimes. Klum went for a high-end hound with her wool German Shepard Balenciaga sweater, while Rimes cozied up to a more affordable version with her ModCloth bulldog pullover.

There's nothing batty about Chung's cute chunky knit bat sweater from Topshop's J.W. Anderson collection, which adds a quirky touch to her jeans and oxford shirt. Bosworth puts a funky twist on a ladylike peplum pencil skirt with her a kitschy owl sweater.

We love that Fluffy and Fido can add a dose of playfulness to dressier looks—like Rimes' leather skirt—or more casual outfits, like Klum's jeans. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks!
