Modern Family star Ariel Winter was spotted shopping with her sister and legal guardian, Shanelle Gray, and niece Skylar on Sunday, while sporting their New York Giants gear (dangerous in L.A., but clearly, they felt it was worth the risk).
Last week, the 14-year-old actress was removed from mother Chrisoula Workman's care amid court filings containing allegations the star had been subjected to physical and emotional abuse.
Those accusations are now at the center of an ongoing legal battle between Winter's mother and sister over guardianship of Ariel.
On Friday, E! News obtained a declaration from a physician who treated the Modern Family star refuting allegations that Winter's mother physically abused her. Regardless, Ariel's sister is seeking permanent guardianship of the actress.
A hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 20.
