Brian Austin Green has been meaning to send flowers to Reese Witherspoon for about a month and a half now.

Wait...what?

Witherspoon "actually gave birth, I think, the day before us in Santa Monica and we were lucky enough to go in at like 2:30 in the morning to the hospital and nobody knew," Green said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show this morning, explaining how Green and wife Megan Fox managed to keep the birth of their son Noah a secret for almost three whole weeks.

"We were there for two days and nobody knew," the Wedding Band star continued, "and we heard that Reese was at her place and had had a baby. And we got out of the hospital and nobody knew, and we got home and thought, 'This is unbelievable, 'cause we weren't expecting to be able to get away with it.'"

"We were expecting all of the [media] to be in the hallways, in the parking structure and all that stuff," Green recalled. "So we just figured we would go with it as long as we could. Until the news kind of broke, I forgot who it was that kinda found out first and we thought, OK, let's put something on Facebook."

Hey, Bri, it was E! News that exclusively reported on Oct. 17 the news that your baby had arrived in September, after which Fox took to Facebook for the official announcement.

"He is healthy, happy and perfect," she wrote.

Also for the record, Green was just a few hours off. Witherspoon's son with hubby Jim TothTennessee James, was actually, like Noah Shannon Green, born on Sept. 27—so there could be a joint birthday party in the families' future.
