John Cusack is gearing up for a big Rush—literally.

The actor is currently developing a film about Rush Limbaugh, with an eye toward starring as the conservative talk-show host himself, according to published reports.

The project, tentatively titled (but what else?) Rush, will be directed by Private Parts helmer Betty Thomas and is reportedly set to begin shooting next year.

A rep for Cusack's production company tells The Hollywood Reporter, "The script would explore the rise and reinvention of American talk radio, and Limbaugh's continued influence and impact over the last three decades in that world."

We'll leave it up to you to decide what kind of impact that's been. Two words: Sandra Fluke.
