Who is going to play Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode 7? Will fans have a say?

So far, Disney and Lucasfilm have been keeping very quiet, at least, officially, about the story and the cast for the next installment of the iconic story. It's only natural to assume that Episode VII takes place after Return of the Jedi and the destruction of the second Death Star. If that's the case, we may as well start assembling our fantasy cast starting right now.
Wanna play?
Before we get started, it's entirely possible that the original Luke, Mark Hamill, could return for the next installment, especially if the filmmakers envision an Episode VII that takes place a few decades after the group's last victory.
If so, that would certainly please the franchise's most loyal fans.
"I think people would particularly enjoy seeing Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford come back and play their characters," TheForce.net's Eric Geller tells me. "I don't think fans would relish seeing other people stepping into those roles."
But that's exactly what might happen, especially if the filmmakers want to pick up the story immediately, or soon after, it leaves off. After all, Luke Skywalker is supposed to be a teen in Episode IV: A New Hope, so he couldn't be much older than his mid-20s by the time of Return of the Jedi.
So who might play him: Liam Hemsworth? Star Trek's Anton Yelchin? Hunger Games hottie Josh Hutcherson? Tron's Garrett Hedlund? Boarwalk Empire's Michael Pitt?
