5 Best Songs From The Twlight Saga Soundtracks

Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 Summit Entertainment

Say what you will about The Twilight Saga—either they're unparalleled masterpieces or the worst atrocities ever committed to film—but one thing you can't deny is they have awesome soundtracks. Like, really good.

So good it's hard to pick just five songs among artists like Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Muse, The Black Keys, Sia and the list goes on. But we have persevered and come up with these picks.

5. "Let Me Sign" by Robert Pattinson, Twilight: Oh my Edward! It's like Edward is really singing to Bella while sucking her blood to save her. And then it's like Robert Pattinson is really singing to Kristen Stewart but then maybe he's also singing to all of us? Romance on romance on romance all sung by a moody, raspy-voiced R.Pattz makes our heads explode.

4. "My Love" by Sia, Eclipse: Need a song for tons of making out and laying in fields (nothing more until you put a ring on it, Bella!)? Well, has Sia got the love ballad for you! This song also has an extra dreamy factor: it's playing when Edward proposes to Bella. Sigh. Lucky girl.

3. "Possibility" by Lykke Li, New Moon: This song perfectly captures up the depressed Bella we're forced to deal with throughout the second film. It's lethargic and haunting, just perfect for sitting in a chair while watching the seasons go by or writing heartbreaking e-mails or eating alone and just being generally insufferable. There is nothing worse than a Bella Swan pity party.

2. "Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Wedding Version" by Iron & Wine, Breaking Dawn Part 1: This song played during Edward and Bella's first dance at prom in Twilight and came full circle when the two exchanged "I do's" in Breaking Dawn. And it is the latter we chose. It's magical and romantic, just like the storied love affair of a vampire and clumsy, emo mortal.

1. "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse, Twilight: Well, we all know Stephenie Meyer's "very favorite band" is Muse so it only makes sense for the British group to top the list. And this Muse tune has one thing all the rest don't have: Vampire baseball. That's all we need. That said, "Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)" is also up there, it's just severely lacking in vampire baseball sequences.

We're just a couple weeks away from another awesome soundtrack featuring Green Day, Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit and more so this list is subject to change, obviously! Now tell us your favorite Twilight tracks!
