Clearly, Demi Lovato has the X factor, and if for one second you doubted it, she gave you a little reminder—or tried to.

The X Factor judge shared her vocals with the nation on Sunday while belting out the National Anthem to open game 4 of the World Series—the Tigers take on the San Francisco Giants at Comerica Park in Detroit—but reactions to her performance were mixed.

Lovato tweeted earlier, "So excited to sing the National Anthem at game 4 of the World Series tonight!!!!!"

Following American Idol's Phillip Phillips, Glee's Matthew Morrison and New Girl's Zooey Deschanel, Lovato took the baseball diamond in a casual chic outfit that included black leggings, a black graphic tee with a blazer and high-heeled boots.

What wasn't casual at all was Demi's singing voice, which started off smooth and sultry, then went off to show her range and talent on those incredibly hard high notes. Did she do too much with America's jam?

Although the crowd cheered, other viewers seemed to have a different take on Lovato's rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner," and didn't find it too appealing.

One YouTube commenter called it "the worst Anthem rendition i have ever heard"
