The 28-year-old singer-actress stepped out for the first time since parents Joe Simpson and Tina Simpson announced they were divorcing.
Ashlee, who divorced Pete Wentz in 2011, was expressionless as she kept her precious pup in her arms Thursday in Los Angeles.
A rep for Tina and Joe Simpson said Wednesday, "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false."
Like Ashlee, big sister Jessica Simpson is also carrying on with life as normally as possible. The fashionista and new mom hit the gym Wednesday afternoon.
Ashlee and Jessica's parents were married for 34 years.
