Lolo Jones is looking to make the jump from Summer to Winter Games.
The two-time Olympic hurdler earned herself a place on the U.S. bobsled team and will compete for the chance to head to the 2014 Sochi Games in Russia, her rep confirms to E! News.
Jones, 30, also let the cat out of the bag on Twitter, writing "Diversifying my resume. #USABobsledTeam."
Cool runnings indeed.
The Louisiana native will be one of 24 athletes who will vie for a spot on the World Cup circuit next month kicking off at Lake Placid, N.Y.. If she's successful, Jones will then head to her third Olympics, only to hit a different—and certainly much icier—track than she's used to.
Sochi will hopefully represent a redemption of sorts for the track and field star who came in seventh in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and finished a disappointing fourth in London. If she misses out on Sochi however, Lolo still plans to compete in hurdles at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
We wish her good luck!
