It's been eight years since Emily Maynard's fiancé, Ricky Hendrick, was killed in a tragic plane crash.
Tuesday, on the anniversary of his death, the Bachelorette star tweeted a Bible verse that served as an uplifting reminder that he is still present with her and their 7-year-old daughter, Ricki.
The 26-year-old single mom referenced 1 Corinthians 2:9, which reads: "However, as it is written: 'What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived—the things God has prepared for those who love him.'"

She also linked to an Instagram photo with the caption: "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."
Emily, of course, did find love again after her fiancé's death. She got engaged to Jef Holm on The Bachelorette, although the couple confirmed last week that they'd ended their relationship.
"We're not perfect" but "we're so happy," Emily once said of her and Jef
Still, Emily and Jef reunited in Charlotte, N.C., this past weekend.
No word yet on whether the reality-TV lovebirds were just having a friendly get-together or are trying to patch up their relationship.
