It's one of Once Upon a Time's biggest mysteries: Who is Henry's (Jared Gilmore) father?
Well, we might just learn who it is in the Nov. 4 episode "Tallahassee," which features our very first flashback to Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) life before she had Henry. And who should be sitting cozy with our heroine in her yellow Buggie but True Blood's Michael Raymond-James mysterious character whom we briefly met in the season premiere!
Could he be Henry's father?!
Viewers met Raymond-James in the opening scene of the season two premiere when a Storybrooke postcard with the word "Broken" written on the back of it landed on his windowsill right after the curse was lifted. Could magic be trying to reunite him with Emma? In the episode description, he's called "a fellow thief" (explains the photo of Emma being arrested!) who wants to make an "honest woman" out of Emma.
In the same episode, Emma goes on a journey up a beanstalk with the not-too-trustworthy Captain Hook (new series regular Colin O'Donoghue) in an attempt to steal something from a giant (played by Lost's Jorge Garcia).
Of the episode, co-creator Edward Kitsis told us, "It's really great because you're going to see Emma before she had Henry, and I think that episode explains a lot about who she is." Cocreator Adam Horowitz added, "There's a lot of things about Emma's past that we hinted at last night season that we're excited to reveal this year, one of which being, who is Henry's father? Having the opportunity now to delve into her past is exciting, and Jen is awesome in that episode."
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
