Maybe the Spice Girls were right when they said friendship never ends.
Melanie Chisholm had a little extra support in the audience last night when Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell turned up to watch her in Jesus Christ Superstar, her final performance in London before the show moves on to the United States and Australia next year.
"so excited to see Melanie with Jesus tonight@MelanieCmusic @EmmaBunton x," Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice), tweeted before the show, in which Mel C plays Mary Magdalene.
And Bunton tweeted afterward: "I am so unbelievably proud of my gorgeous friend @MelanieCmusic she was fantastic!!!" Baby Spice also joined Spices Sporty and Ginger for the afterparty at the Hilton London Wembley.
Melanie Brown, who's in Australia judging the Down Under version of The X Factor, also sent her regards, to which Bunton tweeted: "@OfficialMelB: @EmmaBunton@melaniecmusic me too wish I was there with you" Missed you!"
(Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, is obsessed with a Prada print and recently posed for the cover of Elle France.)
All five Spice Girls reunited for a one-off performance at the Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony in August.
