Hard to imagine anyone turning down Pamela Anderson for a date, but looks like the still-smokin' ex-Baywatch babe will have to go stag.
New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn has turned down the Dancing With the Stars castoff's invitation to join her at a gala to stump for a ban on horse-drawn carriages in the city.
Per the New York Post, Anderson had even extended the invitation to Quinn's wife ("Three's company!" she reportedly quipped), but that wasn't enough to make the politico bite.
"Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I won't be able to join you," Quinn demurred.
Hey, Pam: We hear that Scarlett Johansson's now single and also hanging out in New City. There's an idea. Just sayin'.
Here's what else went down last night:
Xtina's Ix-nay on Panties: In case you were going to buy Christina Aguilera underwear for Christmas, don't. She hates wearing them.
Oh, No He Didn't: Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi, who is suing Jamie and Lynne Spears for libel, already hit below the belt in court when his attorney made allegations that the pop singer was on drugs.
Lorenzo's Close-Up: During Jersey Shore: After Hours, fans got to watch Snooki's bambino on video!
Wedding Bliss: How sweet! Gerard Butler says he's "very excited" for his Playing for Keeps costar Jessica Biel's wedding to Justin Timberlake.
Political Laughs: Oh, you missed The Daily Show with Jon Stewart yesterday? Too bad, Barack Obama was on.
