As Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel count down to their big day this weekend in Italy, the soon-to-be married duo and many of their guests are passing the time by submersing themselves in the country's culture.

An eyewitness tells E! News that the bride and groom were part of a big group that hopped into nine vehicles that transported them from their luxury beachfront hotel to a grotto in Lama del Trappeto on Thursday.

The starry crowd lounced on white recliners around open fires, and were served cheeses made in the grotto, milk from goats, local olives, ricotta and wine from the area.

Surrounded by private security and local police, the grotto was closed to the public and was reserved just for Timberlake, Biel and their party.

The happy couple was casually dressed, with Biel wearing chino trousers and a beige top, while her man sported a pair of blue trousers, a white shirt and a skinny tie.

The day also featured music, including local folks songs sung in Italian, as well as folk dancing.

The outing came just hours after an evening beach party, with former Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg and music manager Johnny Wright among those in attendance. The festivities featured soul, jazz and funk music.

Oh, and fireworks. Nice!

Other famous faces who will be witnessing the nuptials include Biel's 7th Heaven costar Beverly Mitchell and frequent J.T. music collaboraters Timbaland and Rob Knox.
