President Barack Obama has finally addressed the issue that has concerned us all—the alleged feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, of course!

Upon calling in to Miami radio personality Michael Yo's program The Yo Show on Friday, the commander in chief was asked if he would be able to mend the two American Idol judges' supposedly strained relationship.

"I think they are going to be able to sort it out. I am confident," Obama said. "I am all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're moving forward and not going backwards."

Asked which singer is his favorite, the president simply stated, "Mariah, she's actually done some events for us. I've gotten to know her and Nick [Cannon]. She's a wonderful lady. Nicki I don't know, but I've got her on my iPod."

Meanwhile, Obama and Republican hopeful Mitt Romney will face off in their second presidential debate on Tuesday. Guess we'll just have to tune in to see if Carey and Minaj will be the primary topic of conversation tonight as well!
