The actor "popped out of nowhere" and crashed a game with a group of New Yorkers who were playing kickball on Roosevelt Island on Sunday, and the news surfaced online after CollegeHumor's Marina Cockenberg posted this photo to her personal Tumblr.
"My friend just had Bill Murray crash his kickball league," she wrote.
Meanwhile, her pal Chris DiLella, who is also on the team, gave a detailed description of playing with Murray to Entertainment Weekly.
"He was bouncing the ball... ran over to second base. Played for a bit... Gave us all high-fives and let us pose with him in the picture," DiLella says. He also mentioned that Murray then ran over to one of the players' mothers, who took the picture, and "picked her up in his arms."
Later on, the awesome Murray left the park with three young boys whom the kickballers assume were Murray's three sons.
