Britney Spears Returns to Fashion Fail Form in a Sad Rain Cloud of a Dress

The singer strikes out in Lever Couture at a Whitney Houston tribute and the result is not good.

There was this short story called All Summer in a Day, where it rained all the time and the sun only came out for 2 seconds every 7 years.

Britney Spears had her 2 seconds of fashion sunshine the other day when she wore this Halston number. She looked good. No mirrors cracked.

Now it's back to raining again.

In theory, this Lever Couture dress the singer wore to a Whitney Houston tribute is acceptable, with its belled sleeves and gray color. But the fit is terrible, and the choice in Yves Saint Laurent high-heeled oxfords (?!) is also unfortunate.

Guess we'll just have to wait another 7 years for a decent outfit.
