It seems like Ryan Murphy has a favorite guest star: Matt Bomer! (Hey, can you blame him?)

The White Collar and Magic Mike actor, who guest starred in season three of Glee as Blaine's (Darren Criss) older brother, is set to make an appearance on Murphy's new hit comedy The New Normal, the showrunner announced via Twitter.

"Guess who's coming on The New Normal as Bryan's sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!" Murphy posted.

While we're always excited to see more of Bomer on our TV screens, we're nervous that his appearance means big trouble for Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha), our new favorite TV couple! The duo got engaged in the most recent episode, so we're hoping Bryan's "sexy" ex won't rock the boat too hard.

In addition to guesting on two of his shows, Bomer will also appear in Murphy's upcoming big-screen endeavor, an adaptation of The Normal Heart. (Could  a guest-spot on American Horror Story be next?)

The New Normal was recently picked up for a full season by NBC, along with Go On and Revolution.

The New Normal airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
