Today, E! News has an exclusive look at three brand-new sets from the collection, giving both film fans and toy aficionados a look at a trio of key scenes from Peter Jackson's first installment of his highly anticipated Hobbit trilogy, An Unexpected Journey, which storms theaters on Dec. 14.

In the first set, called "Riddles for The Ring" ($9.99), Bilbo and Gollum square off in a pivotal contest after our beloved Hobbit finds himself deep inside the goblin tunnels. There, he stumbles upon the nefarious One Ring, but Gollum blocks his escape and the two match wits over a series of riddles.

For "The Goblin King Battle" ($99.99), Gandalf—along with elves Dori, Nori and Ori—face off against the wicked denizens of Goblin-town during a massive centerpiece showdown. And, as you can tell from this terrifically detailed toy set, the designers at Lego didn't scrimp on spectacle either—it features everything from perilous walkways to secret crevices, with eight minifigs to boot.

In "Barrel Escape" ($39.99), Bilbo, Gloin and Oin get ready for battle in Mirkwood, a dense and lush woodland that's home to Wood-elves. Natch, the set features two Mirkwood elf guards, along with huge barrels perched atop a ramp—conceivably ready to help our in our heroes' escape.
