Tia Mowry turned heads this week debuting a super-short, cropped pixie cut—a brand-new look for the typically long-haired lady. When asked what inspired this drastic beauty decision, the TV star gave credit to her 1-year-old son, Cree.
"My son is my inspiration. I have a new outlook on life because of him," she said at Variety's Power of Women luncheon. "I wanted my appearance to reflect that, and now I actually look like him. We're twins!"
The actual haircut, we learned, was an emotional event. "I cried! I was not in front of a mirror. I was watching the Kardashians and just heard the scissors going and there was hair everywhere," she confessed.
The tears were worth it, because we think Mowry looks sophisticated and sassy with her new ‘do.
