Step aside, Mitt: Ann Romney's getting her moment in the spotlight!

The hopeful future first lady will be filling in for Robin Roberts on Good Morning America this Wednesday, ABC has confirmed to E! News.

Ann, 63, will cohost ABC's morning program alongside George Stephanopoulos and correspondents Lara Spencer, Josh Elliott and Sam Champion.

The network also says it's in talks with first lady Michelle Obama to cohost GMA. Previously announced fill-ins include Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Colbert and the cast of Modern Family.

Although Roberts, following a bone marrow transplant, isn't ready to return to the air quite yet, she did share some good news with fans on Thursday. In a blog post on GMA's website, the 51-year-old anchor said her "doctors and rock star nurses are very pleased with my progress and I could not be more thankful for the excellent care I am receiving."

If all goes well, she hopes to be discharged from the hospital next week. We wish her well!
