Has everyone recovered from the explosive season two premiere of Revenge yet?
We caught up with stars Emily VanCamp, Josh Bowman and Gabriel Mann over the weekend at the Environmental Media Awards, where we got the lowdown on what's coming up this season.
First up: Are Daniel and Ashley going to get serious?
"It's kind of spur of the moment," Bowman tells us about their relationship. "It's last-minute. They had attraction towards each other. I guess we're using each other in a way. He's still pining over Emily, though."
So will Emily and Daniel work through their issues?
"Not right now, but maybe," Josh told us exclusively. "She has a new love interest, Aidan."
Josh and Emily may be going strong in real life, but their characters' fate isn't as lucky.
"It's a great storyline actually," VanCamp told us about her new love interest. "It's Aidan who comes in, and he is her first adult love, her only adult love that she really had. They really identify with each other."
So what's Aidan's deal?
"They met in New York, and she brings him onto this quest because she realizes that he has his own revenge path that he is on, so they identify with each other in that way and they have an unspoken understanding and fall in love," she says.
VanCamp continues: "You get to kind of see my character in more of a vulnerable light. She's sort of desperately trying to find some sort of connection, all the time, and it's a really great story. And Aidan, I think, it's going to be really tough because there's already Team Jack and Team Daniel, and I think there's going to be Team Aidan as well."
As for Nolan's love life, Gabriel hinted his character will have plenty of action: "Nolan may have his hands completely filled with love interests. Did I just say plural?"
Looks like the second season of Revenge is going to heat up big time. No complaints here!
