Former Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel is quickly learning the facts of Survivor: Philippines.

During Wednesday night's episode of the popular CBS series, Whelchel was seen walking away from her fellow tribe members, who quickly took the opportunity to talk negatively about her behind her back.

While they all assumed she was out looking for the immunity idol, it turns out she was having a bit of a breakdown instead.

"I don't feel like I'm fitting in. I'm already on the outside and don't have somebody I can trust or talk to," a teary-eyed Whelchel could be heard saying while sitting in the rain. "I've been on my own since I was 12 when I moved to California to be on The Mickey Mouse Club and I left my family. I'm very used to just taking care of myself, so I think in real life I'm just trying to learn to open up and trust more and depend on other people, but this is not the place to experiment with that."

Whelchel eventually managed to pull it together and make her way back to camp. At least, for now.

"It's hard being on the outside, and, you know, maybe I'm just not able to play the game," she said.

Guess time will tell if Whelchel can, um, survive.
