Five Reasons You Need to See The Avengers Again!

    The Avengers, Hulk Marvel

The Avengers is already one of the biggest movies of all time, and now with the film's release Tuesday on Blu-ray and DVD, it's sure to be a (Hulk) smash on home video as well.

And while we're pretty sure you saw the flick repeatedly while it was in theaters, here are several reasons why you may want to catch it again from the comfort of your own living room.

Everything and anything you ever wanted to know about The Avengers

More Is Sometimes More: If you felt the banter Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) had with Harry Dean Stanton's security guard was a bit too brief after he Hulked out, well, you're in luck thanks to this extended scene.

Alternate Opening. Yay or Nay?: A much different tone for the film clearly would have been set had director Joss Whedon opted to start the movie showing Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) being interrogated 48 hours after the Tesseract event had taken place.

Adjusting to the Modern World: In this deleted clip, we see Captain America (Chris Evans) strolling the streets of the Big Apple after having woken up in present-day New York City. Also includes a quick Stan Lee cameo. Bonus!

Loki and Hawkeye Assemble: See and hear Thor's sinister sibling chat at length with Jeremy Renner about wanting to take down Nick Fury and Co.

Mini Movie: The Avengers Blu-ray/DVD features a short film titled Item 47 as part of Marvel's continuing One-Shots series on its home video releases. The latest stars Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan.
