Audiences wanted more spinning red chairs, more Blake Shelton-Adam Levine bromancin', more Cee Lo Green goofiness and more of Christina Aguilera's luscious blonde locks…and NBC is delivering!

The network has picked up a fourth and fifth cycle of the hit singing competition, bringing The Voice through the fall of 2013.

"This pickup will assure the many dedicated Voice fans that this innovative show will continue to bring some of the most talented new voices to the world's attention through all of next year," said NBC Entertainment boss Robert Greenblatt. "With the addition of Usher and Shakira as rotating coaches to join Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake in the next cycle, we know that this incredibly addictive program will remain even more relevant as we move forward through this exciting season. My hat is off to John de Mol, Mark Burnett, and everyone who produces this classy and highly entertaining show for us."

The Voice has been winning its time slot against stiff competition, most notably beating out the premiere of The X Factor; last night, it even took down ratings juggernaut Dancing With the Stars.

Aguilera and Green, who will be taking a break from The Voice to work on other projects, will be replaced by Usher and Shakira for the fourth cycle. Levine and Shelton will remain with the show as well, but the fifth cycle mentor lineup is still up in the air.

Meanwhile, there's more good news from the world of The Voice: season-two finalist Tony Lucca has signed with Levine's label 222 Records. "It's cool to see how a gut instinct can manifest itself in such unimaginable ways," Lucca said in a statement.

"Working with Adam on The Voice truly was an opportunity of a lifetime. Now we'll get a chance to take that opportunity to the next level."
