With hubby Benjamin Millepied and son Aleph in the picture, we doubt that's the case, but regardless, the actress has ditched her brunette tresses and decided to join the dark light side by going blond!
Portman, who was wearing a white Dior Couture gown and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, debuted the new look (done by L.A. colorist Tracey Cunningham) at the Van Cleef & Arpels dinner for her husband's L.A. Dance Project in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Cunningham told E! News the actress "came in Thursday and was really excited about having something that is completely different…I think it's just nice for her to make a change. It really works on her.
"She colored it because she needs to be blond for Terrence Malick's new film," Cunningham added.
Portman herself told told The Hollywood Reporter, "My mom says I'm like a different person."
