These boots are made for walkin'…

Come on, we know you remember Jessica Simpson's recording of the iconic song for the 2005 film The Dukes of Hazzard, and if you don't? Well, we bet you remember those teeny-tiny shorts the blond babe was rockin'.

And now J.Simp has jumped back into her super-short denim, and E! News has the exclusive photo where she was snapped sporting the style in Santa Monica, Calif., while out celebrating fiancé Eric Johnson's birthday. She paired the Daisy Dukes with sky-high heels and a casual black shirt and wore her hair up in a messy bun for the occasion.

Although Jess definitely looks fab, the new mom hasn't been shy admitting that she's had to work hard to slim down after giving birth to her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, nearly five months ago.

But, as a Weight Watchers spokeswoman and role model for her little girl, she's committed to shedding the extra lbs.:

"All the weight did not come off with the baby!" she said recently 'fessed to Katie Couric on her show. "I've had to really stay focused on my diet and really concentrate on what I'm putting in my body."

Well, by the looks of her terrifically toned legs in the pic, all we have to say is: Keep up the good work, Jess!

And werk those Daisy Dukes.
