AKM-GSIAmanda Bynes might want to find a new gym, but contrary to reports, she doesn't need to search out new management.
The 26-year-old actress was, indeed, kicked out of an Equinox spinning class in Hollywood Tuesday night. "Yes, I'm the cycling instructor that kicked Amanda Bynes out my class Tues Night! Wishing her a healthy recovery fro what she is going thru," Maurice Rabsatt tweeted Thursday.
"For the record I had no idea who she was it was dark but I would say I did notice how beautiful she was when she initially walked in," he wrote. "Get well Amanda," he added, empathetically noting, "Being in the spotlight ain't easy we all have our breaking points"
Neither Rabsatt nor Equinox immediately responded to E! News' requests for comment on why Bynes was asked to leave.
As for a report that the She's the Man star was dropped by her agent, publicist and entertainment lawyer? A source close to Bynes tells E! News this is simply "not true."
If you recall, Bynes officially announced her "retirement" back in 2010. (She recently told People she was staging her comeback as a fashion designer but was no longer interested in acting.). Thus, she no longer has the need for an extensive management team. A Bynes ource says she still has her publicist in New York, she just hasn't had any upcoming projects. "She wasn't dropped," reiterates the insider. "Amanda fired [lawyer] Dave Feldman two months ago. He wants to take her back on as a client because he's genuinely concerned for her."
Feldman did not immediately respond to calls seeking comment. Attempts to reach Bynes, who has been trying to dodge the news media of late, were unsuccessful.
Next up for the former child star? Her trial on misdemeanor DUI and hit-and-run charges is scheduled for Oct. 29. Until then, she needs to be on her best behavior or risk a hefty bail sum.
