Jack Ryan is back in action—and apparently his love life is also heating up.
Paramount announced principal photography has gotten underway on its highly anticipated big screen reboot of Tom Clancy's CIA analyst hero.
And from the chemistry stars Chris Pine and Keira Knightley appear to exude in this first pic to surface from the Liverpool, England, set, maybe they should've taken a page from James Bond and retitled it From England With Love.
With Pine taking over the titular role previously occupied by Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck, the two actors jumped right into some night shooting. As Ryan's fiancée, Cathy, Knightley films a scene in which her character ends up getting kidnapped only for the dashingly handsome Ryan to swoop in and rescue her following an intense car chase.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh who also plays the villain, Jack Ryan is scheduled to shoot in New York, Moscow and London for a Dec. 25, 2013, release.
