We love the many faces of Gwyneth Paltrow.

And, thanks to the October issue of InStyle magazine, we get to see two of our faves. On the cover, the GOOPer is totally Christie Brinkley pre-Billy Joel, equal parts sunshine and 1970s cover girl.

But the inside look? That's Gwynnie's signature stare. As in, "Oh, honey, you did not just eat refined sugar, did you? Because I will beat you with this statement necklace and then have Tracy Anderson come over and beat you some more, reducing you to a jellylike mass using nothing but a handful of organic seaweed and her sharp little fists."

But we're supposed to talk about the clothes. Fine.

Here's Gwynnie wearing a Diane Von Furstenberg jumpuit on the cover. It is purple—the dress, that is—and it's paired with Fred Leighton earrings and Vhernier bracelets.

But it's not all fashion. Gwyneth also takes time out to talk about her marriage to Coldplay's Chris Martin, speaking about the biggest difference between them.

"Probably our artistic temperaments. Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs moodwise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write. The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging...I focus more on understanding that being understood."

And looking good. On the inside, we're looking at a much more interesting ensemble—a formal look with an elegant updo and a very confident bow on the bodice. Would you expect anything less from People's best-dressed woman?
