It's shaping up to be one of the most exciting debates of the election season. And nope, it doesn't involve Barack Obama or Mitt Romney.

Motormouthed pundits Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly will bring their lacerating wit and no-holds-barred bluntness to a Washington, D.C., stage next month for an old-fashioned, mano-a-mano debate.

Should we start ducking for cover?!

Dubbed the "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium" (or simply "The Rumble 2012," if you're feeling as quippy as the hosts), the event will be held on Oct. 6 at George Washington University and will be streamed live, guaranteeing that you'll catch every last delicious zinger the two will sling at each other.

And just to make sure the duo keeps it civil (or as civil as humanly possible), CNN contributor E.D. Hill will moderate the political shindig.

Natch, the stars are doing some serious fist-pumping to hype up the event.

Stewart has posted a video in which he whoop-whoops, "Oh yeah, it's on!...We are gonna have an argument, it is gonna be like the worst Thanksgiving anyone ever went to."

Sweeeeet.

O'Reilly, meanwhile, said in the statement: "I had no idea my agent signed me up for this. How can I get out of it?"

Yep, these guys already have our unwavering vote.
