There's no denying that dystopian dramas are all the rage lately (What's up, The Hunger Games?), but will Revolution continue the trend or signal its fatigue?

J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke's ambitious and highly anticipated new drama debuted tonight, introducing viewers to a world, 15 years in the future, with absolutely no power.

After checking out it out, we're curious to know what you think of Revolution.

Directed by Iron Man's Jon Favreau, the pilot introduces viewers to Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos), who takes off on a journey to find her brother Danny (Graham Rogers), who was taken by militia leader Captain Neville (an awesomely evil Giancarlo Esposito) after his team kills her father. Why? Because her father knew something about the whole blackout (flashbacks are so handy!)...and possibly a way to turn it all back on.

Lost scene-stealer Elizabeth Mitchell takes on the role of Charlie and Danny's complicated mother, but for us, the pilot belonged to Billy Burke, who completely owns his role as the siblings' Uncle Miles, a man who knows how to drink and how to fight and is equally as badass while doing both. Yeah, we're kind of obsessed with him.

Watch Elizabeth Mitchell in an extended preview of Revolution!

With the complex family dynamics, there are obvious similarities between Revolution and Kripke's hit CW series Supernatural, but we're not sure yet if Revolution will attract the same kind of rabid and devoted fan base. It all depends on how many questions and answers the viewers receive.
