It's about that time, folks! What time? Time to discuss the latest judging rumors surrounding American Idol's new season.

Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias has been offered a spot on the judges table, E! News has confirmed.

According to EW.com, the 37-year-old singer-songwriter has received an offer of around $4 million per year from the reality hit to become one of four judges on the panel. Fox had no comment on the reported deal with Iglesias.

So far, Mariah Carey is the only star we know that is definitely going to appear on Idol for the 12th season. The other two spots? Well, those are officially still up for grabs, but it's been rumored for weeks that country star Keith Urban and rapper Nicki Minaj are both close to finalizing deals to become judges.

Speaking of Minaj, we chatted with her last night on the MTV Video Music Award carpet, and when we asked her if she joining Idol, she smiled and fell silent before coyly responding, "I don't know yet. I really don't know. I have no comment on it." However, she did insist that if there were a delay to sign on as a judge, it was on her end. "Everything in my life, every answer in my life, every opportunity is always my decision," she said.

We're sure Idol fans have lots of opinions on this supposed lineup of Iglesias, Minaj, Urban and Carey, but we had to get feedback from someone inside the music biz, like singer-songwriter superstar Ne-Yo.

"Between Nicki and Enrique I think both of them would do a good job, but Enrique's been in the game longer so he might have a bit more insight on what these kids need to know," he tells us exclusively. "But see, on the other side of that, Nicki has basically gone through what they are about to go through recently, so I don't know, it's a toss up."

Guess it's up to you guys. Who do you think should be on the judging panel for Idol's new season?
