Vampires, mental institutions and blackouts, oh my! Yeah, the fall TV season is going to an interesting one, that's for sure!

Can't wait for the return of your favorite shows, including The Vampire Diaries and American Horror Story? And what about the debut of new shows like NBC's Revolution?

We've compiled some need-to-know and need-to-see information about the three shows, including your first look at TVD's highly-anticipatedew season, right here. No need to thank us, just doing our jobs!

The Vampire Diaries First Look: Elena's (Nina Dobrev) is in transition y'all, half-dead and half-alive, and of course, Stefan (Paul Wesley) is looking for a way to save her in this new promo for the CW hit's return, which was posted on its Facebook page. Enter BFF Bonnie (Kat Graham), who thinks she may have a way to bring her back. The new trailer also gives us a first look at the new season's big bad(s). Season four premieres in October.

American Horror Story Returns: Ryan Murphy's scarefest will return for its second season, officially dubbed American Horror Story: Asylum, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10 p.m. Yes, that means we're in for a Halloween episode just three weeks later. (Wheeee!) Sons of Anarchy kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 11, while It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia begins Thursday, Oct. 11, the same night as BrandX with Russell Brand.

Let's Start a Revolution: Excited for J.J. Abrams' and Eric Kripke's new NBC drama Revolution?
